Flora J. DiStasio
WATERBURY – Flora J. (LoSchiavo) DiStasio, 97, of Waterbury, passed away Monday, April 26, 2021 at Waterbury Hospital with her daughter by her side. She was the loving widow of Alfred J. “Teddy” DiStasio.
Flora was born in Waterbury on Feb. 28, 1924, to the late Josephine (Cioccia) and Peter LoSchiavo. Flora was predeceased by her son David Paul DiStasio.
She liked going to the casino with her late husband, was a fan of UConn women’s and men’s basketball. She liked to watch any sport on TV, whether it be basketball, baseball, football, tennis or golf.
Flora liked to knit and made many afghans that she gave as gifts. Her muffins and baked goods were a specialty.

JUPITER, Fla. – Patricia Ann “Patsey” (Hussey) Demsey, 76, of Jupiter, Fla., formerly of Watertown, entered into the gates of heaven on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24, 2020, in the comfort of her own home, surrounded by her adoring husband, family and close friends.
Patsey was the loving wife for 55 years of Richard “Dickey” Demsey, owner of Demsey Manufacturing, Watertown, Conn. Patsey and Dickey were blessed to have shared a wonderful life, a true love story.
Patsey was born in Waterbury, Conn., on March 21, 1944, the daughter of the late Patrick J. and Ellen (Cunningham) Hussey. She attended Croft High School in Waterbury and went on to get her business degree from Post University.
