It’s no secret that buying a house these days can be a long and frustrating process as prices soar and the number of available homes drops. It won’t be long before Fort Collins’ median price reaches half-a-million dollars, continuing to push the sphere of affordability out farther.
Timnath has the highest median price in Larimer County, and Greeley continues to have the lowest price in Northern Colorado, according to the Fort Collins Board of Realtors.

Fort Collins Foothills Mall Has Been Up For Sale Since September
The Foothills Mall located in Fort Collins has been for sale since September according to the Reporter-Herald.
Documents show that the mall was listed approximately one month before the current owners defaulted on their payment prompting an official foreclosure demand.

A Chicago-based commercial real estate service provider by the name of Jones Lang LaSalle was contracted to list the property on August 31.
The co-owners of the Foothills Mall, Alberta Development Partners, and Walton Street Capital have until April 6, 2021, to confirm if they are able to solve the foreclosure demand. If the co-owners are unable to resolve the foreclosure, the location could be put up for auction later in April.
