Hong Kong actor Chapman To, famous for his roles in the Infernal Affairs films, and a number of lowbrow comedies, found working in Hong Kong difficult after his vocal support for pro-democracy causes.
The Procurator, a forthcoming movie aiming for the Labor's Day holiday, announced it has drawn inspiration from real cases to reflect the dedicated work of judicial personnel in China, with the script written by Zhao Peng, a veteran procurator who has worked in the field for over 20 years.

The Hong Kong International Film Festival (HKIFF) returns this month, after being bumped from its regular spring berth because of another round of pandemic-related cinema closures earlier this year.
