Periods of off and on showers. If you notice right now, those temperatures about 40s in the south bay, 50s for the peninsula and the trivalley and still seeing a lot of dark cloudy skies. So, if you have seen those breaks of sunshine, especially out near San Francisco, in you can expect to see the rain move faster as it move further south. A cool down in the temperatures, tonight we could be dropping to the lower 30s for areas in the valley. Taking a quick look at satellite radar, we are still seeing spotty showers offshore. As i mentioned over the next couple of hours, if we take a closer look and zoom in, we are expecting that majority of that rainfall to move out by about 11 30, fast forward to 1 00. Can you believe that . An incredible scene in san rafael this morning of a home being destroyed by a massive landslide. A Police Officer took this video of the house on Mountain View avenue. The twostory house was inundated by a wall of mud that tore right through the walls, snapped support beams and as you can see wrecked the foundation. The family inside heard the commotion, all ran out. The homeowner says everyone did get out safely and is okay. He said seeing the house where he was born destroyed is tough to handle. I tell my wife and son, weve got to get out of the house. Right then there was a slide that came in over our upper patio and hit the window into our kitchen, coming down into the house. So then we ran out. Smart move. Two neighboring homes have been tagged unsafe, too dangerous for people to be in because of the crumbling hillside.
