The latest attack on saturday night at this starbucks loekd on atlantic avenue. A cartoon animator was sitting there working on his latest project when four people in hoodies burst through the front door. They start headed right toward me. And i just couldnt believe it was happening. Then suddenly, he just grabs my laptop right out of my hand, knocks the drink over, and hes out the door with it. I have to start over, get new software, i have to get a new computer. And i think starbucks owes me that. On july 18th, two customers got their laptops stolen in front of this starbucks in alameda. Street and castro. The man is believed to be hold up at a house beginning at 11 45 last night when police found a woman who was shot. Shes currently being treated at the hospital. Not too bad considering the time of the morning. When you get to the bay bridge, traffic is backed up to the maze and the metering lights are on. This is 880 in oakland. Traffic is moving well in both directions. I want to mention that 580 through Castro Valley is slow. An earlier accident on 238 that is now on the shoulder. You can see the traffic it left in this area. Northbound 880 through hayward is slow because of an accident near a street. Give yourself some extra time as you drive in this area. Southern california l. A. Freeway rain came over from palm springs. Most of this is lifting north. Possibility some of that could work its way into the forecast tomorrow. Four hours from now San Francisco is going to honor jerry garcia yet again. He was born back in the city. Again, this was in 1942, when he was born.
