The Alamance-Burlington School Board of Education and its superintendent publicly announced a drastic shortfall in money needed to complete repairs to schools and run the district, and they placed blame
At Tuesday's meeting, board members explored their options, including adding six to 12 minutes to the existing school day, and possibly using parts of holiday breaks to make up for lost time.
The Alamance-Burlington School System will spend a total of more than $1.2 million to clean up mold in two schools and repair the heating and air systems responsible for it.
