Thousands of dollars from a jewish temple in norfolk wont serve jail time. This morning Leslie Bradner pleaded guilty to stealing from her former employer. She pocketed more than 60 thousand dollars. She left the job and months later an outside auditor discovered the missing funds. Deputies say he was shot over a few ounces of pot. Carson city sheriff ken furlong says the shooting happened in the Early Morning hours during a drug deal off windridge drive near scotch pine drive. He says the victim in this case was attempting to sell about three ounces of marijuana to two other males when he was shot. The Carson City Swat Team executed a search warrant at the 900th block of east fifth street where they initially detained three persons of interest. After questioning. Bring a weapon to campus before the day began. Once the student got to school, they were able to search, locate the weapon and then detain the student. He was then taken into custody by the police. Once again, its important to note, that the student didnt have the capability to load the weapon, but dr. Gausman says that doesnt change the severity of the issue. We will follow all of the necessary steps, procedures and protocols to make certain that we do all that is necessary to keep our students and Staff Members safe, said Sioux City Community schools superintendent, dr. Paul gausman. Now, speaking of those procedures and protocols, its important to note that student cant return to school until this case is fully resolved.
