Napa County Airport on green island road. Firefighters say the property had about 200 vehicles and was engulfed in flames, producing a large plume of black smoke seen across much of the bay area. Gusty winds helped spread the fire across a total of 20 acres destroying cars, boats, and the Property Owners home. A woman who lives next door said the fire moved at frightening speed. Speed. Ive been sick with the flu, so i was laying down, and then my neighbor texted me and said theres a fire. I got up and ran outside, and sure enough it was huge and i could see it traveling really fast and i panicked and got my keys and dogs and got in the car and left. Firefighters say smoky conditions will lesson around midnight, and that air Quality Control officials have been contacted to see what monitoring may be needed.
