DGCA said the action was taken after a voluntary safety report from an Air India employee, alleging safety violations by the airline on some of the long-range, terrain-critical routes.
Air India has submitted its reply to the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in the case where passenger Shankar Mishra urinated on a woman co-passenger onboard a New York-Delhi flight in November last year.
Incidents involving men flashing their private parts and inappropriately touching and harassing female flight crew and fellow passengers are sadly not.
