The announcement of the meeting took place days after the pilot unions, Indian Commercial Pilots’ Association (ICPA) and Indian Pilots’ Guild (IPG) on 21 April sent legal notices to aviation firm.
Legal notices were served on Air India by the Indian Commercial Pilots' Association (ICPA) and the Indian Pilots' Guild (IPG) in response to the airline's proposed new terms & conditions of service.
The two unions have warned of possible industrial unrest if the management goes ahead with the new terms without their consent.
