Nearly two months after an Air India pilot allowed a female friend into the cockpit during a Dubai-Delhi flight, aviation watchdog DGCA has directed the airline to deroster the entire crew till investigations are complete.
Indicating that they are ready for a showdown with the Air India management over its decision to revise the salary structure and service conditions, the two pilot unions warned the management of going to "any extent" to protect their members.
The Air India Commercial Pilot Association sent a legal notice to its Chief Human Resources Officer on Friday regarding the proposed revised pilot terms and conditions of service.
