Air India has apologised to passengers on its flight which was diverted to Russia's Magadan on Tuesday following a technical glitch in one of its engines. The airline has also agreed to refund the tickets of all passengers on the flight.
A replacement aircraft carrying all passengers and crew on board took off from Russia's Magadan for San Francisco today after an Air India flight was forced to make an emergency landing in the remote Russian town due to a technical issue on Tuesday.
A relief aircraft will depart from Mumbai at 1 pm for Russia's Magadan to take stranded Air India passengers to San Francisco, Air India sources said today.
