coronavirus relief bill. i have been in support of one for months. but you have to look under the hood to see what it says. obviously, we need to help those workers who are still unemployed or still can t get the hours they need because people like gavin newsom and xavier becerra have shut down their restaurants or bars. we need to help businesses that are struggling to keep their people on payroll. we need to make sure that schools can stay open as is the case in arkansas or reopen across the country. we need to make sure that we have the money to get the vaccine out as quickly as possible. rather that the total amount of spending in this bill some of which will be money we didn t spend in the cares act and we have available to spend on these high priorities. i will be looking at what the actual priorities and policies are of the bill. ainsley: senator, thanks for being with us. thank you all, merry christmas. ainsley: let s hand it over to carley she has headlines for us. carley: w

lifeline that they have to get through this, that has been sort of pulled out from under them by health department that essentially is acting on a gut reaction. last time i looked, gut reactions weren t part of the scientific method. ainsley: you are absolutely right. joe biden has put together his corona task force and admiral bret garrard is one of them. listen to what he said. the evidence clearly does not support limitations on things like outdoor dining, particularly that are spaced out door bars. the evidence just isn t there remember, shutting down completely, particularly if you don t have evidence can be counter productive. ainsley: let s say the judge says okay, you don t have the evidence. restaurants can open back up, how are they going to do that if there is a stay-at-home order? well, you know, the broader stay-at-home order impacts all of leg county and certainly california.
