Sir The residents of Lahardane, a rural village at the foot of Nephin mountain in north Mayo, revolted when they had their GP practice taken from them last year. With a population of just 178 recorded in the 2016 census, they challenged the might of the HSE and won the battle to have a new doctor installed in their health centre.
