With COVID safety precautions in place, each school has musical theater presentations planned .
And for at least one student at Ashland High School, this will be an experience of a lifetime.
Junior Aidan Chandler is geared up to perform as Telly Leung in Godspell. We’re excited to do it and do it safely, Chandler said. The things we get to do, you get excited about.”
Chandler was quarantined in November before Thanksgiving break. Though he never contracted COVID, he missed some choir performances, but was back at school just in time to audition for the musical.
On a whim, Chandler s father, Dan, reached out to Broadway actor Telly Leung to prepare his son for the role.
