The Ahmedabad Traffic Police in India has introduced AC helmets to combat the intense summer heat. The helmets have a unique design with a built-in fan-like structure on top, powered by a battery pack worn around the waist. They can operate for up to 8 hours on a single charge and also provide protection from dust and pollutants.
Rana is among the six constables who have been given these helmets on a trial basis by the traffic police. The helmet powers from a battery that is worn at the waist and needs charging every eight hours.
