On this holiday, another security scare at the white house, as a man draped in an American Flag was able to scale and jump the spiked fence before being stopped by the secret service, all while the first family was gathered for thanksgiving inside. The jumper made it over, despite new security put in place five months ago after a series of embarrassing security breaches. Clearly, it didnt deter this man. Nbc White House Correspondent Kristen Welker has details. Reporter video captures the chaotic moment. The patient checked into the honolulu hospital yesterday. Its unclear whether the man had traveled to west africa. Ebola is just one condition hes being tested for. The girl, the man fired five shots one at point blank range hitting her in the right arm. And a bullet probing her arm. Reporter girl ran and man says they shot at her again, this time hitting several homes in the process. She ran to several houses, and a grandmothers house and two other houses next to her grand moms house trying to get in the front door while this male continue to shoot. Reporter shooter fled but police did apprehend the suspect. Fortunately these number just witnesses did cooperate with the police not only telling us a good description to apprehend this individual but positively identifying our suspect. Reporter were told the suspect was already wanted on a warrant. We did believe it was the intended target. We do believe that the shooter knew this 17 yearold female prior to shooting her. Reporter girl was taken to st. Christophers hospital, shes being treated for that gunshot wound and subsequently a broken arm. Man she was sitting with was not hurt. So far no word
