CPC said it allowed Luxembourg-based United Media to buy Nova Broadcasting Group and its subsidiaries Net Info, Daric News, Vbox, Elit Media Bulgaria, Radio Veselina, Radio Express, Vitosha FM, Agencia Vitosha and Agencia Atlantik as well as to exercise joint control of Financial Marketplace, Grabo Media and Attica Eva.

SOFIA (Bulgaria), January 18 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria s antitrust body said on Monday that it gave the green light to United Media, part of Dutch-based telecommunications and media company United Group, to acquire 100% of Bulgarian multi-platform media company Nova Broadcasting Group from Sofia-based Advance Media Group.
The Commission for Protection of Competition (CPC) allowed Luxembourg-based United Media to buy Nova Broadcasting Group and its subsidiaries Net Info, Daric News, Vbox, Elit Media Bulgaria, Radio Veselina, Radio Express, Vitosha FM, Agencia Vitosha and Agencia Atlantik as well as to exercise joint control of Financial Marketplace, Grabo Media and Attica Eva, the competition authority said in its decision.
