of all the votes in this republican gubernatorial primary has been counted up and released. you can see karen taylor robeson with the lead over kari lake it s about a half point just a half couple minutes. we have a big chunk of pima county where tucson s, second biggest county in the state, again karrin taylor robson with the advantage they re up double digits. a few more days are big geographically but not gonna be huge in terms of population and those. there s gonna be some more votes from these counties that are reported out tonight. what s gonna happen is that over the next couple of hours they are going to report out those that were casted in person today. but it s also going to turn, spillover into tomorrow. the ballots that were dropped out by people today have to be processed, have to be validated, signature verified, and won t be counted, released, until tomorrow, maybe later. it can take days and i was on a. but i think the bottom nice and trying to understand this race is t
least a day, in arizona, to play out. the more trump friendly boats are the later votes, that would look so translate potentially at the later votes being the carry lake votes. so there could be room here for lake to grow, there could be room for taylor robson to fall here a little bit. but this certainly, initially, when you see maricopa county come in as ten points for taylor robson over lake. like wanted to be winning at this batch of votes. because she was winning in this batch of votes, it would be game over. instead, taylor robson gets a ten-point path here. from this big giant batch that maricopa reports out early. again, we are seeing that, take a look at some of these other counties here. this is campanile county, this is where flagstaff us, a lot of these are geographic big but they are not that big in terms of population. but giving a quick look here. at the other counties that are reporting out some of those results right now. and what it adds up to, is it was odd that stat
republican voices i should say, nationally, who are trying to say hey, maybe lake was a step too far, maybe taylor robeson would be more electable here. again, the thing i want to caution with this here, is this. taylor robson, this is a good development for her to be in the league right now. if blake jumps out into the league and carry maricopa county. if like jumped up into the lead statewide, i think it would be hard to see her losing. so taylor robeson is getting what you want right now in terms of these results. i want you to think back to the 2020 election in arizona if you can. because remember how that one played out. it was days long to get all the results in. the upshot of it was, biden jumped out to his biggest lead right away on election night in arizona back in 2020. and the votes that were counted up as the week went on where much more trump friendly. and so if that pattern holds here, there is still gonna be, this process is probably gonna take a couple of days, or at
arizona. taylor robson with the advantage over like. let me see by the way those other statewide races that we have been talking about. same early votes counted up. okay, here in the senate race, blake masters jumps out, the trump endorsed candidate in the senate race. he jumps out to an early lead here. it s five points over jim layman, who has really run as, try to run as just a trump candidate as masters. he just didn t get the trump endorsement in this race. brnovich, the attorney general, who earned trump s ire during the 2020 election running in third place right here. we can also take a look quick look at secretary of state race. this is attracted a lot of attention. then jim, trump endorsed candidate here, leading in this race. again, question has been, finchem it is, finchem, masters, and carry like, do they all win their primaries here? noticeable, notable i believe, the difference, here carey lake running about nine points
