The Afghanistan rains have claimed lives of at least 14 people and 2000 livestock. A person is missing and there has been mass destruction including road blockage and demolition of houses due to the floods.
The death toll from overnight flash floods caused by torrential rain in central Afghanistan has risen to 26, with more than 40 people missing, officials said Sunday.
More than three people in Afghanistan died, and seven have been injured due to heavy rainfall and flooding during the last two days, the country's National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) said on Saturday, Afghanistan based Khaama Press reported
