The Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a man who was hit and killed as he walked along highway 101 in South San Francisco this morning. Officers found the mans body on the shoulder of the freeway near oyster point after receiving a 911 call from a driver who reported hitting something just after 3 00 a. M.
