Officers found the mans body on the shoulder of the freeway near oyster point after receiving a 911 call from a driver who reported hitting something just after 3 00 a. M. The driver actually returned to the scene to try to determine what he hit. Couldnt find naelg. Officers closed all southbound lanes until 5 30 this morning. Chp said drugs and alcohol were not a factor. A crash left two people injured in fremont. Southbound lanes were shut down in front of the Fremont Hub Shopping Center for a few hours. Two people were taken to the hospital. No word yet on how that accident happened. Two men broke into a familys home this morning pointing guns at a couple and their child. This happened just before 9 00 on oak grove road. Now with the latest on the investigation. Melanie . Reporter larry and ama, the two suspects got away, but police say a neighbor saw them running down the street and there is Surveillance Video. This Home Invasion robbery happened just before 9 00 this morning on the 2800 block of oak grove road as the couples young child, about 5 or maybe 6 years old, was playing outside, according to police. They were armed with handguns and demanding cash. Apparently they entered through an unlocked side door of the home. The suspects initially got away, running with that undisclosed amount of cash. And then police say they possibly got into a tan or gold minivan on cedro lane. Its certainly a safe city. A crime like this is very rare.
