Robert Rodriguez is working on a new Spy Kids film with Netflix, Skydance and Spyglass. The new cast includes: Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Everly Carganilla and Connor Esterson.
The Book of Boba Fett director will return to the Spy Kids franchise for a reboot. The first movie premiered in 2001, starring Antonio Banderas. Rodriguez also directed kid-friendly action movies Sharkboy and Lavagirl and We Can Be Heroes.
