Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Providing in-office or off-site mental health counseling services to crime victims referred to the Adult Victim Services Program.
Keeping detailed records of clients served with counseling sessions, via paper and electronic database.
Providing telephone follow-up with clients to complete client exit questionnaires.
Participating in monthly team meetings/case reviews and on-site visits.
Accompanying coordinator on home visits with clients as necessary.
The Victim Services Program at the Delaware Center for Justice, Inc. provides comprehensive and intensive case management support to victims of crime who are 50 and above. The program conducts home visits, provides transportation and accompaniment to court, law offices, and medical appointments. The services also include professional short-term and long-term counseling, assistance with attaining civil order
