The project involved creating living shorelines along the Chickahominy River and Gordon Creek sides of the park, including beach nourishment and breakwaters on the west side of the park along the river, and marsh creation and stabilization on the north side along the creek.
Parks Administrator Alister Perkinson said a month-long public consultation will be held on the master plan. It will go to the planning commission and will likely return to the Board of Supervisors in the fall for a final decision.
