Zach grew up in Columbus, Georgia. He stepped into the working world as a seasonal and weekend employee at the Lawhorn Scouting Base, Flint River Council BSA, while in high school. The role involved teaching lessons in conservation skills and progressed professionally into consecutively higher positions allowing him the opportunity to coordinate weekend facility scheduling and programming for rental groups. This experience led him to study Recreation Administration and Public Policy Leadership at the University of Mississippi.

Fort Polk celebrates courthouse dedication ceremony

On the morning of April 21, the Fort Polk Office of the Staff Judge Advocate named and dedicated the Fort Polk Courthouse after Sgt. Maj. Howard Metcalf.
Metcalf served as the 8th Regimental Sergeant Major of the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps from Feb. 17, 1998, until his retirement in 2002. He passed away in November 2019 at the age of 72. The Fort Polk Courthouse Naming and Dedication ceremony was held in conjunction with Fort Polk’s 80th Anniversary and in the spirit of recognizing excellence within the ranks of the U.S. Army.

Hiring of new foreign workers on hold
KUWAIT CITY, Feb 10: Interim Minister of Oil, Electricity and Water Dr Muhammad Al-Faris confirmed the termination of 433 expatriate employees in the two ministries and their affiliated agencies, indicating the total number of expatriate workers in these institutions is 915 and most of them are in the Ministry of Electricity and Water, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily obtained a copy of Al-Faris’ response to the parliamentary question submitted by MP Dr Muhammad Hadi Al-Huwaila, in which he affirmed the Kuwaiti employees are appointed according to the actual manpower needs of the entities in line with the replacement policy stated in Civil Service Commission (CSC) decision number 11 of 2017. He said no expatriate has been appointed in the two ministries since the issuance of this decision.
