Three Black Brant IX sounding rockets are set to launch from NASA s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia as part of the Atmospheric Perturbations around Eclipse Path (APEP) mission.
According to ISRO, the boom carries two state-of-the-art, high-accuracy fluxgate magnetometer sensors that measure the low intensity interplanetary magnetic field in space. Aditya L-1: Around 4 pm on Saturday, ISRO will inject Aditya L1 into a halo orbit around the L1 point where it will operate there for the next five years. All seven payloads will gradually be switched on over the next few days
Following the insertion, the satellite, which was launched from Sriharikota on September 2, is expected to stay in the strategic location, L1 or the Lagrange Point 1 for the next five years.
