The jobs of Orthodox female nonprofit executives and lay leaders got a supercharged boost of inspiration last week, as 150 women, including more than 20 from New Jersey’s Jewish communities, joined to invest in time together learning, sharing and growing.
“This immersive experience provided inspiration, education, connection and an opportunity to learn about, discuss and support one another,” said Young Israel of Fair Lawn’s Rebbetzin Rebecca Belizon.
Providing support for women to deal with difficult scenarios is part of the OU Women’s Initiative’s mission, ever since it was launched by the Orthodox Union in 2017.
