Red line train going from maryland to d. C. Tonight i talked to a metro rider who says she didnt hear the gunshots. But over the phone a younger rider said they heard the aftermath. They went over the loudspeaker and they called out for the metro police and said some code and a minute or two later they told everyone we needed to get off the train. Reporter the caller asked not to be identified. She lives in Silver Spring and was on the red line headed downtown when someone opened fire before 3 00 this afternoon. A teenage male was shot on the train as it was headed to the takoma station platform. He was about 30 yards away. People were crowding. Reporter for police this quickly turned into a search for these three men, persons of interest that Metro Transit Police say after the shooting got off at the takoma station, hopped on a train the opposite direction and got off at the Silver Spring metro station. 40 years. It was less than a year ago that the nfl settled the case over concussion risks. This time hundreds of retired players charged the league illegally supplied them with risky drugs that led to addiction, and some say they were never told about serious injuries.
