it, that is typically aspertame, the last time i looked at equal it was aspertame, this clearly says sucralose, which is splenda. this is equal classic, i never realized. because i never look at it. you see i never look at it either. it is confusing. the equal is of course aspertame, i guess you find out, typically the yellow is splenda or sucralose, and typically, the blue is aspertame. i wrote a whole book on splenda which is called sweet deception. and it is probably not as bad as aspertame, but there are so many alternatives. is it synthetic? it is a derivative of sugar, not much different than ddt. it is in a similar family.
