And Harvard University spokes people tell us the threats have striking similarities to another bomb threat made on campus in december of 2013 in the midst of fall semester finals. The same four buildings were mentioned in that threat. It was later determined to be unfounded and the student who admitted to sending it was later charged. Still, with the events in paris, both police and students admit, theyre a bit more on guard. They do make me concern about safety. Its an unfortunate coincidence this, has happened so quickly after both threats. Police believe capitalizing on that fear might have been the motive here. Because of what took place and the heightened concern that people have that somebody took this as an opportunity to lodge a threat. Again, im not dismissing the threat. There was another bomb threat made this morning, targeting cambridge Public Schools, checked out before school could even start. Nothing was found and schools opened as normal this morning.
