In a stock exchange filing, Adani Enterprises has said that VCPL has urged SEBI "to provide its observations on the Draft Letter of Offer filed in relation to the Open Offer, in accordance with the SEBI (SAST) Regulations."
On August 23 this year, Adani in a surprise announcement said that it had acquired 28.18 per cent stake in NDTV and would launch an 'open offer' to acquire additional 26 per cent.
Adani group believes that there is no restriction by Income Tax authorities on it acquiring a stake in NDTV, NDTV says conversion is barred by income-tax authorities.
