A gunman shot a customer sitting in a car at a busy McDonald s drive-thru in a ruthless gangland hit.
David Pugh stalked 21-year-old Adam Caine as he was being passed takeaway meals at the restaurant in Bromborough, Wirral.
Unmasked Pugh approached a black BMW and fired twice at Caine in front of horrified witnesses including families with children.
Liverpool Crown Court today heard Pugh, 32, and an accomplice James Nolan, 31, knew Caine and targeted him in a gangland vendetta .

A gunman who shot a customer at a McDonald s drive-thru has been cleared of attempted murder after he and his gang admitted lesser offences.
David Pugh targeted 21-year-old Adam Caine when the victim was being passed takeaway meals at the restaurant in Bromborough, Wirral. The 32-year-old hit the front seat passenger in the leg, before the driver dropped his food and sped away from the McDonald s collection window.
