The Kirksville Kiwanis Club welcomed Misti Hollenbeck-Harris to speak at their Nov. 30 meeting. Hollenbeck-Harris is the director of Membership and Wellness for the Adair County Family YMCA. She presented on their child nutrition program, which prepares and delivers healthy and satisfying meals to children in the community during the school year and the summer. The United Way of Northeast Missouri (UWNEMO) held their Campaign Kickoff & Cork Pull on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the White Oak Barn in Kirksville. Luminaries from throughout the local area attended the event, which included a buffet of free food, raffles and giveaways.
