John DeLeeuw, DO, has joined Northeast Specialty Group and will be accepting new patients at the Northeast Regional Medical Group Clinic at 1607 S. Baltimore Street in Kirksville. DeLeeuw will continue to serve as program director for the Internal Medicine Residency program at Northeast Regional Medical Center, providing oversight for residents and equipping them with practical knowledge to manage acute and chronic issues in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
Northeast Regional Medical Center is taking minimally invasive surgery to the next level with the addition of new robotic equipment. Minimally invasive techniques are advanced through the use of robotic assisted equipment, allowing surgeons to perform more complex procedures.
Northeast Regional Medical Center recently appointed Dr. Charles Zeman as the new chair of the board of directors. Zeman replaces Jim Robertson who had served as the chairman of the board since 2000.
