Roselle mayor won t seek reelection in 2021 Andy Maglio
Roselle Mayor Andy Maglio will not seek reelection in April for a second 4-year term.
Maglio, elected in 2017 after serving on the planning and zoning commission for more than 24 years and as a village trustee for eight years, said he will look to new leaders to guide Roselle forward.
It was definitely a tough decision, but I realized that it was time for me to retire, Maglio said Friday. I want to do things I enjoy while I m capable of doing them.
Maglio has not yet endorsed any candidates to replace him in the April 6 election. The first candidate to announce a run for mayor is Trustee David Pileski.
