Roll up, roll up to the Queensland vaccine community hubs
The first of Queensland’s community hubs were opened today as part of the State’s COVID-19 vaccination roll-out.
Coordinated by Acting Deputy Commissioner Shane Chelepy, the vaccination roll-out will be managed under the disaster management framework, with community hubs already established at Logan, Townsville, Springfield and Rocklea.
While visiting a facility at Logan today, Acting Deputy Commissioner Chelepy was pleased with the co-ordinated rollout.
“This is the first day and it’s working pretty smoothly,” he said.
He emphasised the importance of people booking prior to arriving and if they make a booking, to make sure they keep it.
