Residents of the Katputli Colony On Tuesday alleged that they were beaten by the police during the DDA’s demolition drive and not allowed to take their belongings before their houses were razed.
The drive had triggered clashes among its residents, activists and the police on Monday.

People coming for COVID-19 tests say non-infected and potentially infected stand side by side
In what can be called a gist of the situation at city hospitals, a family has been waiting at a government hospital to get COVID-19 tests for two days, while at another one, people are worried if the hospital itself will become a “super spreader” as non-infected and potentially infected stand together.
In view of the decreasing cases of COVID-19, the Delhi Government has declared six of its hospitals completely Non-COVID hospitals. Along with this, it has also been decided to reduce the number of reserve COVID-19 beds in five government hospitals. The order has been issued by the Health Department of the Delhi Government, which will come into force with immediate effect, according to the Delhi Health Department. According to the order, the hospitals of which have been declared completely COVID-19 free are Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital, Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital, Acharya Shree Bhikshu Hospital and SRC Hospital.
Delhi government reduces beds for Covid-19 as cases continue to drop
Lok Nayak Hospital currently has 300 beds for admission of infected patients while there are 500 beds at RJSSH, 50 at BSA, 320 at Burari Hospital and 300 at Ambedkar Nagar hospital.
