this one pass, general. let s move on. if this general were the first conversation that we had of an issue from this white house, maybe there would not be attention or if the president wasn t tweeting about the wacky congresswoman today. but when it comes to accountabili accountability, are we going to have to continually look the other way because we cannot fend on this administration in contrast to what we have come to as norms in this country, as respecting a gold star family, members of congress and respecting what words mean whether out of your mouth or social media, that words and images have power and they matter. i understand that, and i agree with everything you said. we have to hold our politicians accountable. i m just talking about this moment. yes. i m talking about this very, very private moment and the courage that it took for general kelly to bare his soul in front of all of those people.
working behind the scenes at a plan aimed at jamming this massive health care spending bill through congress against the clear wishes of an unsuspecting public. look at how this bill was written. can you say it was done openly? no! with tran paresparency and accountabili accountability? no! without backroom deals, behind closed doors, hidden from the people? hell, no, you can t. we want to do it right. if you rush this thing through before anybody even thoughs what it is, that s not good democracy, that s not doing our work for our constituents. charles, i m not saying, i m just saying. i mean, what do you even say to that? i said, i m not saying, but i m just saying. it s actually kind of sad and pathetic, right, because it i mean, on one level, it is about washington and just the hypocrisy of washington politicians. on another level, it s specific to these particular politicians
efficiently he raised his campaign. he raised significantly less than hillary clinton, came in under budget. his washington d.c. hotel came in significantly earlier than anticipated. he s had to live and die by accountabili accountability. what is interesting, you brought up the companies that donald trump has been in the twitter wars is. boeing just closed a buck off their all-time high. don t look now, but lockheed-martin big need that we missed today, the f-35s will come in less than $100 million each and cheaper and cut a deal probably in the next couple weeks. that stock on the cusp of going to all-time highs. neil: interesting. i never knew we could celebrate a jet coming in at under $100 million. thanks for that reminder, the times we live in. thanks, charles. great seeing you. doug mckelway is at the event.
