Westbound 580 through the Altamont Pass and the Livermore Valley, all the roadwork has been picked up. The connector ramps reopened. And the drive time is not started to change to slow yet so it is still nice and light, 14 minutes between the Altamont Pass and the dublin interchange. Same thing up and down the nimitz. There was some roadwork in berkeley on westbound 80. It looks like that should have been picked up now that were past 5 00, as well. A quick check along the peninsula, everything is moving so far at the speed limit on 101 and 280. Looks great past sfo if you have a flight to catch. Work crews an heavy equipment knocked off the top six floors today. Demolition crews were hard at work knocking down the burned building. So it doesnt fall on its own and hurt somebody. We are worried about structural draps. We have been able to take all the material and push it back into the building. At the closest corner here, you see some fell out into the street. So what that does is remove a hazard of a collapse. Reporter as you can see, the fire is still alive inside the property. It will be a while before the smoldering goes out.
