Students at nearly a dozen Clark County School District campuses primarily, in North Las Vegas and Henderson will see changes to attendance boundaries next school year.
Over the past week, Las Vegas students and parents have been organizing walkouts and rallies in support of teachers at the Clark County School District (CCSD), the fifth-largest school district in the US with over 300,000 students and 18,000 teachers.
A judge declared Wednesday that a teacher strike had occurred and ordered a preliminary injunction. The Clark County Education Association asked the Nevada Supreme Court for an emergency stay.
