A top commander of Lasker-e-Toiba Nadeem Abrar along with his Pakistani associate were killed in Maloora area of Srinagar, police on Tuesday said.
A police spokesman said that a foreigner among two militiants were killed in Maloora gunfight on Tuesday morning.
Revealing the details about the encounter, the police said slain militants have been Indentified LeT commander Abrar Nadeem and his Pakistani associate.
The Police said following the specific input about militinats carrying an attack on highway. Few joint nakas of JKP & CRPF were place along the highway.

SRINAGAR, Apr 24: Police today arrested three persons who allegedly decamped with cash from a Jammu and Kashmir Bank Branch in Pattan area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district two days ago.
Police said they are involved in three other robberies this year in the Valley and killing of a former SPO earlier this month.
They have been identified as Nisar Ahmad Bhat son of Ghulam Mohammad Bhat of Singhpora Pattan, Rahil Ahmad Parray son of Bashir Ahmad Parray of Kanihama Magam and Arif Ahmad Mir son of Ghulam Ahmad Mir of Mazhama.

The Budgam police along with the 53RR of the Indian Army on Saturday (April 17) arrested three terrorist associates linked with proscribed terror outfit LeT and recovered incriminating materials from their possession.
The three have been identified as Ghulam Mohd Gojre, resident of Kawoosa Khalisa, Adil Ahmad Dar and Tahir Ahmad Bhat, both residents of Narbal.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that the arrested terrorist associates were providing shelter, logistics and other material support including transportation of arms and ammunition to the terrorists of proscribed terror outfit LeT in Magam, Narbal and Beerwah areas of Budgam.
