Health chiefs have ruled out opening a dedicated mass coronavirus vaccination centre in the Medway towns.
Mr Bentley said the plans for a dedicated Medway centre would be kept under review
Paul Bentley, chief executive of the Kent Community Health NHS Trust, the branch of the health service organising and running the mass vaccination hubs, confirmed there were currently no plans for Medway s own site.
He told KentOnline: People from Medway can access this centre and we re also working with colleagues at Medway Maritime Hospital to see if we can do more creative things there. We are doing those.

Mass vaccine centres in Kent will be capable of giving 15 vaccines per minute when they are all fully operational.
The four sites â in Folkestone, Gravesend, Tonbridge and Thanet â are open or due to open imminently with a combined capacity of 11,000 patients every day.

This means up to 77,000 patients will be vaccinated at the mass centres every week plus the thousands more at dozens of GP-led vaccine centres in surgeries across Kent and Medway.
