West Yorkshire mayoral hopeful visits black and ethnic minority housing association

MP TRACY BRABIN has visited the senior representatives of a black and minority ethnic housing association as part of her campaign to be West Yorkshire’s first directly elected mayor.
The MP for Bately and Spean was welcomed by Manningham Housing Association (MHA) based in Bradford. She was introduced to MHA chief executive Lee Bloomfield and vice chair Abdul A. Ravat.
In a socially-distanced presentation outlining the housing association’s history, the group shared how they had become the first housing association in the UK to be officially accredited for their success in promoting equality, diversity and inclusion.
