Protests broke out across Kerala after several top leaders of the Popular Front of India (PFI) were taken into custody following pan-India raids conducted jointly by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and National Investigation Agency (NIA) on .
The coordinated searches were jointly conducted by NIA, ED and the State Police forces at 93 locations across India. The maximum number of arrests were made in Kerala (19) followed by Tamil Nadu (11).
