NEW DELHI: The J&K administration has sacked two sons of Pakistan-based Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin, who were employed in different departments, under Article 311 for alleged involvement in terror funding cases.
The two are among the 19 J&K government staffers terminated as part of a review undertaken over the past one and a half months of cases under Article 311(2)(c), with a view to rid the UT administration of elements either working clandestinely for or furthering the activities of terrorist outfits, according to officials.
While eight persons, mostly associated with the J&K education department, were sacked earlier, services of 11 government employees have now been terminated “in the interest of the nation”, a source said.

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir authorities on Saturday sacked eleven more government officials including two sons of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen chief Muhammad Yusuf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin “in the interest of the nation”.
Pursuing a tough policy against what it sees as their anti-national activities, their being in the government service a threat to the security and integrity of the country or their violating Government Servants Conduct Rules, the J&K government has in the past two years dismissed a large number of its employees including teachers, revenue officials, engineers and policemen.
