Karnataka issues fresh guidelines for new year celebration News Network December 30, 2020 Bengaluru, Dec 30: Karnataka Minister for Home Basavaraj Bommai on Wednesday said that guidelines for the new year celebrations issued and no one should hold public parties. Speaking to media here on Wednesday, he said that the Police heads have already been instructed to take necessary steps to restrict the new year eve celebrations. The new guidelines should be followed to avoid a large crowd. He said that concerned DCP will be given the responsibility to oversee the parties celebrations besides no one should celebrate on the streets. Even parties have been banned in Mysuru and Kodagu districts and necessary instructions have been given to Police and all these decisions have been taken to curb the spread of Covid-19.
