On this auspicious occasion, the actor informed The Daily Star that his friends and close ones remind him of his birthday and his grandson, who will turn 4 this October, has wished him over the phone from the US.
Legendary actor, Freedom Fighter and Member of Parliament, Farooque has finally returned to his beloved country after 803 days. Sadly, prior to his return, he was engaged in a prolonged battle with an illness that began on March 4, 2021, which ultimately led to his untimely demise.
For the final time, legendary actor Farooque was brought to the courtyard of the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation (BFDC), a place that directly witnessed the transformation of Akbar Hossain Pathan into the silver screen’s, “Mia Bhai”.
