Following a night of severe storms, the San Antonio can expect some quieter weather, at least for today.
The National Weather Service says they can t rule out a shower or two tonight, but it won t be much compared to what folks saw on Wednesday night.

Temperatures in San Antonio are expected to reach the 80s later this week, according to the National Weather Service.
On Monday and Tuesday, the high is expected to be 66 on both days before there is a rise in temperatures. On Wednesday, the high is expected to be 74 before it hits 83 on Thursday, which will be almost 20 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year, according to NWS meteorologist Aaron Treadway.

While areas around San Antonio experienced a nice dusting of snow on Sunday, the weather in San Antonio was rainy with less than a quarter inch of mostly sleet.
Areas north of Austin received up to 6 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. The Texas capital recorded 1 1/2 inches of snow Sunday, breaking its 1973 record of .3 inches, the NWS said.
In other parts of the state, the snow was more substantial. The stormed dumped more than 9 inches of snow north of Houston and 4.4 inches in Waco, the 10th highest 24-hour snowfall event on record for the region, according to the NWS.
