the ktvu channel 2 news at noon starts now. good afternoon. topping our news this noontime right now, berkeley police are still at the scene of a double shooting where one person was killed. police say the shooting happened around 8:45 this morning on sacramento street, south of russell street. the victims were rushed to the hospital where one of the men died. witnesses say there were two shooters. no arrests have been made. police do not yet have a motive for the shooting. this is quite unusual for this community so early in the morning, particularly concerning that there were community members going to school, going to work. as you can see, there are a number of people concerned about what happened here this morning. a number of people were outside at the time of the shooting. some of them say they saw the suspects run from the scene. a shooting at lake merritt left two men wounded, a retirement home hit by gunfire and force of a lockdown of a nearby school. polic
